Principal's message

As parents of students at John Paul II High School, you play a crucial role in ensuring your child’s success. The tendency at the high school level for parents is to back away from the day-to-day activity that your child is involved in. It is true that parents need to find the balance between being overly involved and not involved enough. It is also true however that most teens need your support, encouragement and direction as much or more than they ever have. I encourage you as parents to take an active roll in the education of your teenage child. Ask questions, stay in touch with teachers and administrators, follow up on attendance calls and generally support your child’s efforts at school.
